About Us

"The Chameleon was opened to fill a fabric void in Huntsville, AL. Several fabric stores had gone out of business and fabric seekers were having to drive to neighboring cities to fulfill their decorating needs and desires. We, as decorators and fabric lovers, should be able to find everything we need to complete our projects in our own city. A chameleon changes, and starting this business after 19 years of being a stay-at-home mom has been a big change in my life. Decorating is also about change... So, "The Chameleon" seemed appropriate. Opening the store has been an exciting adventure and I look forward to serving you for many years to come."
